Direct Drive Home:

• Efficient travel, reduced wheel marks - Instead of following the perimeter wire back to the docking station, DDH allows the iMOW to calculate a direct route. This varies the iMOW's route, preventing wheel marks around the lawn perimeter.
• No-go areas should be round where possible. The iMOW can distinguish around the no-go area from the perimeter, helping DDH to work more effectively.
• The Perimeter check is critical - During the installation process, the iMOW performs a perimeter check. This must happen uninterrupted. The iMOW builds a scale internal map of the circumference of the garden. This is called the teach-in process.
• Obstacles are accounted for - During mowing, the iMOW will come across obstacles and no-go areas and incorporate them into the internal map. iMOW knows to avoid these during DDH.
• DDH is optional - DDH may not function reliably in gardens with complex lawn shapes, multiple narrow spots or 3+ mowing areas. In these cases, DDH can be de-activated in the dealer area and the iMOW will follow the perimeter wire to the docking station.
• Same as RMI 422.2 PC - Currently, DDH features on the RMI 422.2 PC and RMI 522 C. Not featured on any 6 series iMOWs.
